Check out these awesome singers and bands

We are huge supporters of live music, so we want to feature some acts you may or may not be familiar with. This summer we sponsored several shows at Eddie’s Attic with 99x and Coors Light, and were graced with hearing so many amazing artists. We discovered the music of Amy Corriea at one of those shows, so we’re promoting her. Send us a link to some music of your favorite songwriter or band, and the best of the best WILL be featured here.

Amy Corriea

Brooklyn, NY.
Her melodies stick in your head, while her fanciful word play keeps you guessing. Correia's waifish voice is both vulnerable and fierce, and it lends credibility to the emotional contradictions she sings about.  Great live performer.

American Bang

Nashvile, TN.
These guys bear the swaggering commercial-rock influence of bands like Jet, The Killers and Kings of Leon in their grungy, Southern sound. Beneath the heavy guitars and growling vocals are simple pop songs, replete with sing-along choruses, references to drinking, girls and rock shows, and plenty of irresistible hooks.

Psyche-Origami

Atlanta, GA.
4 Turntables: 1 Mic. A state-of-the-art spin on the foundations of hip-hop. Dubbed "head-change music," Psyche Origami's material walks the thin line between "conscious" music and "party" music.  Love it.

Walt Wilkins

Austin, TX.
You might call it folk or country or singer-songwriter pop music, but the genres don't matter when the songs are so masterfully written and performed.  Wilkins is about as cool as it gets.
